Introducing doodleDogs' Benji

"Benji" is a Medium Chocolate Labradoodle (Labrador x Curly) - he was one of two labradoodles who entered the programme in 2005. Bobby made it through however Benji sadly did not, due to his mischevious nature and clowning about!! Described by the program as making someone an excellent pet, he was adopted.

Like our Toffee he loves to carry things in his mouth and this usually means things that belong to someone else so he gets chased. During his socilisation training we were told " when we had friends round and he stole a mobile phone, prescription glasses, a wallet, a swim suit and towel, and many cushions..........!!! "

His puppy socialisation family said that "one of his big joys on daily walk is leaping into the horse trough to have a bath, and today he lept into the trough in the field at the Hearing dog centre much to everyone's amusement".

"at the Chalfont St Giles annual Show last Sauturday, he was 2nd in the puppy class and 5th in the Dog-with-the-most appealing eyes class!  Nothing in the best 6 legs in Chalfont St Giles class, but I'm sure it was my legs rather than his that let us down! "
