Toys
Labradoodle love toys especially those which can be retrieved, carried or chewed. They also generally love water so floating retrieval toys are a bonus. When considering a toy for your new puppy ensure it is durable, non-toxic, relatively small but not a chewing hazard. Ideally it should be easily portable and encourage interaction with people particulaly children without becoming competitive. The traditional tug of war toys are fun, however these games do mean that your puppy is being encouraged to pull, sometimes even playfully growl and generally play rough. This could be inappropraite if there are young children in the house and you are trying to promote a sense of gentle play.
We have tried most toys on the market and like the following ranges:

Squeaky (these drive me mad though..)

DentaTugs (freshens breath, always a plus)

|

|
